By installing, accessing, or using GhostPing, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

GhostPing is a Slack bot that:

• Monitors messages in your Slack workspace
• Tracks acknowledgments (reactions, replies, responses)
• Sends private reminder DMs for unacknowledged messages
• Provides configurable timing settings (15 minutes to 24 hours)
• Automatically deletes all message data after 24 hours

3. Data Collection and Retention

What We Collect

• Message Content: Text of messages sent in monitored channels
• Message Metadata: Timestamps, channel IDs, user IDs, thread information
• Acknowledgment Data: Reactions, thread replies, and response tracking
• Team Information: Slack workspace ID and bot configuration

Automatic Data Deletion

All message data is automatically and permanently deleted after 24 hours. This includes:

• Message content and text
• Message metadata and timestamps
• Acknowledgment tracking information
• Any associated reminder data

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use GhostPing only for legitimate business communication purposes
• Comply with your organization's Slack usage policies
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the service
• Respect the privacy and preferences of other team members
• Use the service in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

5. Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

• 30-day free trial for all new installations
• Full functionality during trial period
• No payment required to start trial

Paid Subscription

• Price: $19.99 per year per Slack workspace
• Billing: Annual subscription charged via Stripe
• Renewal: Automatically renews unless canceled
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime through Stripe customer portal

Refunds

Refunds may be provided at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Contact us through our website to discuss refund requests.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. GhostPing may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues or outages
• Slack API limitations or changes
• Third-party service dependencies

7. Privacy and Security

• Data Encryption: All data transmitted using secure encryption
• Limited Access: Only authorized personnel can access systems
• No Data Sharing: We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• Automatic Deletion: All message data deleted after 24 hours
• Secure Storage: Data stored on secure, monitored infrastructure

8. Limitations of Liability

GhostPing is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Missed or delayed reminders
• Loss of data or business opportunities
• Interruptions in service availability
• Actions taken based on reminder notifications
• Conflicts or misunderstandings arising from service use

9. Termination

By You

• Uninstall GhostPing from your Slack workspace at any time
• Cancel subscription through Stripe customer portal
• All data automatically deleted within 24 hours of uninstallation

By Us

We may terminate service for:

• Violation of these terms
• Abusive or harmful behavior
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Technical or business reasons requiring service discontinuation

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be announced through:

• Updated "Last modified" date on this page
• Notice on our website
• Email notification to subscribers (when possible)
